Friendly owners provided us with a comfortable and tidy room that had excellent facilities. The breakfast included a nice selection of options, from cooked dishes to a variety of teas and cereals. Although the pub downstairs has a darker, more dated atmosphere, the pleasant, welcoming service and clean room made our stay enjoyable. The parking situation was initially unclear, but it all worked out well in the end.

This place is a commendable fit for a short stint in Tavistock with extraordinarily good value for money. The restaurant was unexpectedly closed for a private party, but we got invited, making our stay memorable. Make sure to check parking app compatibility if you're from out of the country.

Family with children friendly stay
The room was clean and had good facilities, and even tho the pub downstairs looked dark and dated, our room was light and airy, a real surprise. Breakfast was freshly cooked, all made to order, it felt like I was king for a day being served breakfast the way I wanted.
It wasn't cheap, but for the experience we had, we certainly didn't regret it.

Awesome stay with fab hosts!
Alison & Keith were super chill and friendly. We were amazed by how well they handled our vegan breakfast requests. Saturday night was a blast with Rock & Roll Bingo! And we totally loved their cute dog! Only thing was the pub got a bit loud, but it added to the fun!

I stayed in the Deluxe King Room for one night. The owners, Alison and Keith, created a welcoming atmosphere right from the start. They were friendly and addressed all my allergies, which made me feel valued. The room was clean and comfy with a nice ensuite shower. The breakfast was excellent. they even catered to vegan options, which I appreciated. Attending a private party at the pub made the stay even more enjoyable. The vibe was lively, and the music added to the fun. One downside was the lack of a lift, which might pose an issue for some guests. The bar was closed for our visit, but we were invited to the party, so it worked out. Parking was a bit confusing at first, but I found a multi-storey nearby. a great experience despite a few small inconveniences.

We had a lovely stay with a fantastic breakfast each morning and cozy evenings by the fireplace. The relaxation options, like the lovely gardens and a quaint pub, really added to our experience. The room was a bit smaller than expected, but it worked fine for our quick getaway. 😊
